Our office is situated right behind the station on Belthara Road. If you know the area, it’s in the lane tucked behind the railway tracks. We operate from a place associated with Rajendra Nath Yadav. It’s a very busy part of Ballia because of the trains and the bus stand nearby. The noise of the engines and the whistles is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. Our setup is quite humble. We have a few rooms where we handle all the paperwork and meetings. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a big city center, but it works perfectly for us. We see a lot of people coming through since the station is so close. Some are just passing by, but most are locals from the nearby villages. We don’t have any fancy signs, just a basic one so people know they’ve reached the right spot. The work involves a lot of recording and tracking for our members. We keep things very traditional here. No one uses much jargon or complicated language. We just talk like normal people do. It can get a bit dusty being so close to the road and the tracks, but we keep the place as clean as we can. It’s just a group of us working hard every day to keep things moving. We’ve been here for years and the location has become our second home.
