We are located in the village of Dubhar, in the Ballia district. Specifically, you can find us at Indrawti Devi’s place, right at the first house in the village. It’s a small, local setup where we handle things for the folks living nearby. Life here in Ballia moves at its own speed, and we don't try to change that. We aren't some big city bank with glass walls and air conditioning that’s too cold. It’s just a regular room where neighbors come to talk about their money. Sometimes we have to wait for the rain to stop before people can make it over because the roads get a bit muddy. We spend a lot of time writing things down in big ledgers and making sure everything is correct. It’s simple, honest work. We know most of the families around here, and they know us. There’s no need for fancy suits or complicated talk. We just sit on the chairs, maybe have some water, and figure out the savings or loans. It’s quiet work, but it matters to the people in Dubhar. We’ve been here for a while and plan on staying right where we are. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the area well. It’s a practical way to help the community stay on its feet without anyone having to travel all the way into the main town. It works for us.
