Akhil Vishv Swamy Shiv Narayan Charitable Foundation

Out here in Chandravar, life moves at its own pace. We started the Akhil Vishv Swamy Shiv Narayan Charitable Foundation because things needed doing around the village and Rasra. It isn’t some big fancy office. We mostly sit around and talk about how to help the neighbors. It’s a lot of work, but someone’s got to look out for the folks in the post area. Most days, you can find us just dealing with whatever comes up, whether it’s a family needing a hand or something bigger for the town. We don’t have some glossy brochure to show you. It’s just us, working from the ground up. The heat gets pretty bad in the summer, but we keep the doors open. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desk, and we get a bit behind. That’s just how it goes when you’re actually doing the work instead of just talking about it. My cousin helps out when he can, and we try to keep things honest. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but we care about Chandravar. People know where to find us if they need something. We don't use big words or make promises we can't keep. It's just about being there for each other in this part of Rasra. We might not change the whole world, but we're trying to make things a little better right here where we live.
