Sumangali General Store

My family has been running Sumangali General Store for quite a few years now. We are located right at 75 near the Government Hospital in Maruthi Nagar, Kampli. It is a busy spot because of the hospital, so people are always coming and going throughout the day. We keep a bit of everything on the shelves because you never know what someone might need in a hurry. From morning till evening, we are here handling the stock and talking to the regulars who live around Kampli. It isn't a fancy place with bright lights or anything like that. Just a normal shop with basic items like soap, snacks, and some grains. Sometimes the delivery truck comes late, and we have to move things around to make space in the back. That's just how it goes in a small business. People know they can find us easily since we are close to the medical area. My brother helps out with the accounts when he has time, but mostly it is just me and one other person looking after the counter. We try to keep the place tidy, but when it gets crowded, things get a bit messy. It is hard work staying on your feet all day, yet we are used to it by now. We don't do any big advertising or anything. People just walk in when they need something for their kitchen or their house. It is a simple life running this shop in Kampli.
