Our office for NAMMA HOSPET CHITS PRIVATE LIMITED is located on College Road in Hospet. We are at Door Number 190 in the 16th Ward, specifically in the Basaveshwara Badavane area. Being in Bellary district, it gets quite hot here, so we usually have a couple of fans running at full speed all day. The office isn't anything special to look at. It’s just a ground floor room with some old wooden furniture and a lot of binders stacked up against the walls. We handle a lot of chit groups, so there is always someone coming in to check their balance or ask when the next meeting is. It’s a very practical environment. We don't wear uniforms or anything like that; we just wear our regular clothes and get to work. Most of us grew up around here, so we know the local landmarks and the shortcuts through the streets. Sometimes the internet is slow, which makes things a bit difficult, but we usually just write things down by hand and update the computer later. It’s a small operation. We don't spend money on marketing or fancy signs. Most of our members are people who live right here in the 16th Ward or go to the nearby colleges. We just try to be honest with the work and make sure the math adds up at the end of every month. We usually have a break around four for some tea.
