You can find us on Dam Road in Hospet, right opposite the Corporation Bank. Shridhar H Godbole is usually around the office. Ktms Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is basically a place where we get into the nuts and bolts of engineering projects. The road outside can get pretty busy with trucks and people going towards the dam. We have a lot of blueprints and tools lying around. It’s not the cleanest office in the world because we are always working on something. We started this because there was a need for local engineering help. Most of our days are spent on the phone or sketching out plans on the back of old envelopes. We don’t have a receptionist or a big lobby. You just walk in and someone will be there to talk to you. The weather in Hospet can get really dusty, so we are always cleaning the windows. We like being near the bank because it makes errands easy. It’s a small team and we just get on with the tasks. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words. We just want to make sure the parts fit and the machines run. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due. It’s just the way it goes in this line of work. We’ve been part of the Dam Road scene for a long time and we know the neighborhood well. It’s just how we spend our days here.
