Kavitha Ice

Kavitha Ice is located at 1-584, Royal Circle in Ballari. It is a very busy spot because the circle has traffic coming from all four directions. We have a small shop front where we keep the sliding-top freezers. It gets very hot in Ballari, so the ice sells fast. We don’t have much space for sitting, just enough for a couple of stools near the entrance. The floor is made of old tiles that are a bit cracked but we keep them swept. Usually, the afternoons are the quietest time because it’s too hot for anyone to be walking around the Royal Circle. Then, once the sun starts to go down, everyone comes out at once. We spend a lot of time cleaning the condensation off the freezer lids. My wife helps me with the accounts in the evening after she finishes her work. We have been at this address for several years and the landlord is a nice man who lives nearby. The lights inside are a bit dim but they stay on most of the time. We buy our stock from the big distributors and hope they arrive on time. It is a simple life running a small ice shop. Sometimes the neighborhood kids hang around outside, making a lot of noise. We just tell them to move along if they aren't buying anything. It's just a regular shop where we do our best to stay cool in the heat.
