Jk Food

Down on Tungabhadra Dam Road, you’ll find us at 52-96, Gs2. It’s an interesting area because of the proximity to the dam, so there’s always a bit of a breeze coming through. Jk Food isn’t a huge factory or anything, just a solid place where we handle the food products daily. The road can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up, so we spend a decent amount of time just keeping the entrance clean. Inside, it’s all about the routine. We start early while it’s still cool outside. There is a lot of lifting and moving boxes around, so everyone stays pretty active. We don’t really have any fancy marketing slogans or big posters on the walls. Mostly just calendars and some notes tacked up about orders. People around here know us by name, which is nice. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out or find something else to do that doesn't need the lights. It’s a practical way to spend the day. We focus on the food and getting it ready to go out. The location on the Dam Road is convenient for the lorries. It’s a lot of work but it keeps us busy. We don’t think too much about being the biggest, we just want to make sure the boxes are packed right and the place stays running.
