Maharaja Marble & Granite

You can find us over at Shop No. 4 in Pandit Place, which is right on Tigoan Road in Sector 2. It’s not the biggest shop in the world, but Maharaja Marble & Granite has everything we need to get through the day. We spend a lot of time out front watching the traffic go by while we wait for deliveries. The stone business is heavy work, and our hands show it. Most mornings start with a cup of tea and looking over the inventory we have stacked up. We’ve got marble and granite leaned up against the walls, and you have to be careful how you walk through the aisles. Tigoan Road stays active, so there is always noise from the street, but you get used to it after a week or two. We aren't big on fancy decorations or anything. The stone is the main thing here. Sometimes a neighbor from Sector 2 stops by just to chat for a minute while they’re out on errands. We like being part of the local scene here. It’s a straightforward business. We show people what we have, tell them the price, and help them load it up if they have a vehicle. There are no corporate rules here, just us trying to run a decent shop. We keep the doors open through most weather, unless it's really pouring down. It's a good spot.
