Ishwar & Sons Trading Co.

We are out here in Udaka Village. It's close to the highway, NH-44, which makes things easier for moving stuff around. My father started this under the name Ishwar & Sons Trading Co. years ago. Bharatpur is where we belong. It's mostly quiet here except for the trucks going by. We handle different trading goods. People around the Kaman area know us. We just get on with the work every morning. There’s always something to load or check. Sometimes the weather makes it hard, but that’s just how it is in the village. We aren't a big city firm with fancy offices. Our office is just a simple place where we keep our books. Most days involve talking to suppliers and making sure the stocks are right. We’ve seen the roads change over time. It’s a family thing, really. My sons help out now when they can. We don't do much advertising because word of mouth usually does the job. If you are heading down the highway and turn towards Kaman, you’ll find us. We deal with people fairly. That is the only way to stay in business this long in a place like this. The dust from the road gets everywhere but we don't mind it. It’s just part of the daily routine. We keep the doors open early. It is a lot of hard work but it keeps the family going.
