Overnite Express Limited

We are over here in Talapada, which is near Dwarika in the Balasore district. It is a quiet place most of the time but the work keeps us busy enough. People around here know where to find us because we have been at this spot for a while now. Dealing with packages and making sure things get to Gopalpur or further out is just what we do every day. Sometimes the roads are a bit rough, especially when the rain hits Orissa, but we manage to keep things moving along. It is not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a regular setup with some tables, a few chairs, and a lot of paper logs. We start early in the morning, usually when the sun is just coming up, to sort through whatever arrived the night before. My cousin helps out sometimes when it gets really crowded with boxes. You see a lot of the same faces coming in to ask about their stuff. We try to give them straight answers without any of that complicated talk. It’s mostly about knowing the local shortcuts and which bike is running okay that week. Balasore is a big district so there is always a lot of ground to cover. We just take it one day at a time here in Talapada. It gets dusty in the summer, and the fan in the corner makes a clicking noise, but it works for us. We just focus on the task in front of us.
