Stanglobe Marine Exports Private Limited is a small outfit based in Bhaskarganj, Balasore. We are currently working out of the space provided by Pravash Chandra Das. Balasore is a key place for marine exports because of its location, so we ended up setting up shop here. Our work involves a lot of coordination between the people catching the fish and the companies overseas that want them. It’s a lot of early mornings and late nights. The office in 756001 is usually filled with the sound of fans and people talking over the phone. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just desks, computers, and a lot of maps and charts. We try to keep things honest and straightforward. If a shipment is going to be late because of a storm or a truck breakdown, we just say so. People seem to appreciate that more than excuses. Dealing with marine life means you have to be quick, or things go bad, so we are always on our toes. Baleshwar is a busy place for this kind of trade, and we are just one small part of it. We take care of our own business and try to help out the local community when we can. It’s decent work that keeps us fed and busy throughout the year. We are just normal folks doing our part in the global export chain without any fuss.
