Prinstar Hosiery Private Limited

Prinstar Hosiery is located in Balasore, specifically in the Nuasahi area of Balia. Our place is Plot No-301, House No-38. It’s a basic building where we’ve set up our hosiery production. We spend most of our time dealing with different types of knitted fabrics and making sure the machines are running smoothly. Balasore is a good place to be, though it can get quite dusty during the dry season. Inside the house, we’ve converted the rooms into storage and production areas. There are stacks of white and colored fabric everywhere you look. We mostly focus on simple things like socks or undergarments. It’s the kind of stuff everyone needs but nobody thinks much about. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything; it’s just us and a couple of local workers who know their way around a knitting machine. Most of the day is spent listening to the hum of the motors and checking the finished items for any holes or loose threads. We pack everything into cardboard boxes and stack them near the door for the morning pickup. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s steady. We like the routine of it. When the work is done, we usually just sit out front for a bit before heading home. It’s a decent way to make a living in a town like Balasore.
