Laxmi Fly Ash Bricks Industries is located at No.8 in Barmadhia Village. This is part of Basta Tehsil in the Baleshwar District. We decided to set up here because there is enough space to spread out. Making fly ash bricks is a bit different from the traditional red ones, and it takes its own kind of rhythm. When the sun is out, it is perfect for curing the bricks. We don't do much advertising; most people just hear about us from their neighbors or see the trucks leaving Barmadhia. It is a tough business with small margins, but it is steady. We spend a lot of time making sure the mix is right so the bricks don't crumble. It’s not glamorous work, but it is what we know how to do. We just stay focused on the daily tasks and try to get through the orders as they come in. It can be long hours.
