We are Hatisala Farmers Producer Companylimited. Our main office is located in Gutu, specifically in Salaguda, which is part of the Raikia region. We operate out of House No. 7, which belongs to Gopabandhu Nayak. It is a very local setup here. Since we are a farmers producer company, a lot of our work involves the people in the surrounding fields and nearby villages. We are not sitting in some high-rise office building in a big city. It is a regular house where we meet to talk about the crops and the business. Living and working in Salaguda means we are right in the middle of where everything actually grows. The pace of life here is a bit slower than the big cities, but when it is harvest time, everyone moves pretty fast. We help organize what the local farmers grow and try to find ways to get it out to the markets. It is very practical work. Sometimes we just sit on the porch of the house and discuss what needs to happen for the next week. Gopabandhu Nayak has been very helpful in giving us a base to work from. There is a lot of walking involved and talking to our neighbors. We do not have any big marketing teams. We just know the land and the people around here. It is about getting the produce moved and staying busy.
