Being Friends Charitable Foundation

We are set up at Plot No-63 in Adangabazar. Sairun Bibi is the one who hosts us here and makes sure we have what we need. It’s in the Soro area, which is a place we’ve known for a long time. The foundation is really just a group of friends trying to do some good in the world. We aren't professional charity workers with big degrees or offices. We’re just local people. Adangabazar is a busy little market area, so there’s always people passing by and saying hello. Our spot at Plot 63 is where we keep all our supplies and where we meet up to talk about what to do next. Soro is a good community. People look out for each other here. We try to be a part of that. Whether it’s helping someone with a bit of money for a doctor or just organizing a small cleanup in the market, we stay active. We don't have a big office with air conditioning or fancy carpets. It’s just a room with some chairs and a fan. We like it that way because it keeps us close to the street and the people. Sairun Bibi makes sure everything is in order and that the tea is ready. We’ve been doing this for a while now. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s meaningful to us. We just want to be good neighbors. If you’re ever in Adangabazar, you’ll probably see us around Plot 63. We’re usually busy with something or other.
