You can find Utkal Foods & Beverages right in the Gudipada Market area. We are very close to the Balasore Post Office and the Hanuman Temple is just a short walk away. Being in the market means it’s always lively and there is plenty of noise from the street vendors. We deal with various food products and drinks, mostly selling to the local families and smaller shops around here. The shop has been in the family for a bit, and we haven't changed much over the years. We have some old wooden shelves that hold everything from bottled water to snacks. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when more than three people come in at once. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just talk to people face to face. In the mornings, I usually spend time checking what needs to be ordered for the next day. The temple bells ring often, which is a nice sound to work to. Sometimes the rain gets a bit heavy and we have to move the stock away from the entrance. We aren't doing anything fancy, just selling food and drink to our neighbors. It’s a simple way to make a living and we are happy staying right here in Balasore. Most people know us by name, and we know exactly what they usually want to buy before they even ask. It is just how things are done here.
