The Smile Cane Dental Clinic

The Smile Cane Dental Clinic is tucked inside the D/C Market Complex on OT Road. If you’ve been around the market, you probably know the building. It’s one of those busy places where there’s always something going on. We are a small dental office, nothing too elaborate. We mostly see people from the nearby shops or residents who don't want to travel far for a check-up. The waiting area has a few chairs and maybe an old newspaper if you're lucky. We focus on the basics like fillings, cleanings, and fixing teeth that hurt. The plumbing in these older market complexes can be a bit temperamental, so you might hear the pipes clanking occasionally. We’ve got a single dental chair and the usual tools. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, but we have a decent fan that keeps the air moving. People usually just drop in while they’re out doing their shopping. It’s a convenient location for the local crowd. We don't have a big receptionist desk or a complicated filing system; we just keep track of things the old-fashioned way. It’s a bit cramped when more than three people are waiting, but everyone is usually patient. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the shopkeepers on OT Road by name. It’s just a regular local clinic doing its thing. If the door is closed, just knock; sometimes we're busy with someone and the latch is a bit loose.
