You can find Mohapatra Medicines in the Musashi area of Balasore. We’ve been operating out of Balasore for a long time and the Musashi neighborhood is where we’ve set down our roots. It’s a practical location for us. We don’t have any big shiny signs or a glass-fronted office. It is just a solid building where we store our inventory and manage the daily sales. Most of our time is spent talking to people from the area and making sure we have what they are looking for. Balasore is a place where people value things that are straightforward, and that’s exactly how we run our business. We don’t use any complicated systems or have a lot of corporate rules. If something needs doing, one of us just goes and does it. Whether that’s cleaning the floor or updating the stock books, it’s all part of the job. We like the Musashi area because it’s easy to get to and it feels like a real community. We’ve seen a lot of changes in Balasore over the years, but our little corner has stayed pretty much the same. We are just local people serving our neighbors. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or big goals other than staying open and doing our work well. It’s a simple life and a simple business, and that’s just the way we like to keep it around here.
