Maa Mangala Dal Mill

Maa Mangala Dal Mill is located in Ward No.8, Village Suninda, with the Post at Binishpur. We are a small mill right in the heart of the village. We process different kinds of pulses and lentils that come in from the local fields. The sound of the machinery is pretty loud, and there is always a bit of dust in the air from the grain, but that's just how a dal mill is. It is a very practical, hands-on business. We don't have an office with air conditioning or fancy furniture. We have sacks of dal piled up against the walls and a heavy scale for weighing everything. The people who work here are all from around Suninda. We know the farmers who bring their crops to us. It is a simple cycle of work that follows the seasons. When the harvest is ready, we are very busy from morning until late at night. The rest of the year is a bit slower, but there is always something to clean or fix. We have been here for a long time, and the building shows its age a bit, but the machines still run fine. We just focus on getting the dal processed and ready for people to use in their kitchens and local markets. It’s a lot of labor but we are used to it by now and hope to keep going for years.
