Krishna Books

Krishna Books is situated on Ot Road, very close to the Railway Colony. If you are looking for us, we are right near the ICICI Bank. It is a convenient little spot and many people from the colony stop by when they are out doing their errands. We have been in this location for a good number of years. The shop isn't very large, but we try to keep a variety of books available for anyone who walks in. It is mostly just a few of us running the place. We don't have any corporate managers or big offices. It is just the shop and a small back room for storage. Because we are so close to the railway, we hear the trains going by all the time. It becomes a sort of background noise that you don't even notice after a while. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with the road being so close, but we try to keep the books clean. We don't have a fancy computer system for everything; we still do a lot of things the old-fashioned way with notebooks and pens. Our regular customers seem to like that. They come in for a chat as much as they do for the books. We don't try to sell anyone things they don't need. We just like having a shop in this part of town and being part of the local community. It is a quiet, steady business for us.
