We are located out in Chakajagannathapur in the Balasore district. It’s a bit of a distance from the main city centers, but we like it that way. This is the local branch for the Confederation of Indian Industry. Our office is a simple building that serves the needs of the businesses around this area. Life here moves a bit slower than in the big metros, which suits us just fine. We spend our mornings going through the mail and catching up on what’s happening in the local market. It’s a very grassroots kind of operation. We know the people around here and they know us. There is no corporate polish in this office. We have wooden desks and old fans that keep us cool during the summer. We deal with a lot of paperwork related to regional development.
