Ganesh Timber Traders covers a good bit of space at Plot No. I-9 To 14. Because we deal with wood, we need all that room to stack the logs and the finished planks. There is always the sound of saws running and the smell of fresh-cut timber in the air, which is actually quite nice compared to some of the other factories nearby. We spend a lot of our day sorting through different types of wood and checking for knots or cracks. It’s a lot of heavy lifting, so everyone who works here is pretty strong. We’ve been at this location, spanning plots I-9 through 14, for a long time. People come to us when they are building houses or making furniture because they know we have a wide variety of stock sitting in the yard. We don't bother with fancy brochures or expensive signs. We just have our name painted on the gate and the wood speaks for itself. The weather affects us quite a bit; when it rains, we have to move everything under the sheds quickly. It can be a bit of a scramble. We’re just regular people who know a lot about wood. We don't make big promises we can't keep. If we have what you need, we’ll tell you. If we don't, we’ll tell you that too. It’s a straightforward way of doing business that has worked for us so far, and we plan to keep it that way.
