Oriental Public Senior Secondary School

Our school, Oriental Public Senior Secondary School, sits right along NH 224 in Malmunda. It’s a convenient location for the families living in the Balangir area. We have been running this school for several years now, catering to students from primary up to the senior secondary level. The building is a simple structure with several classrooms and a small office near the entrance. We have a playground where the kids spend their time during the lunch break and after school. It’s not a fancy international school, but we have the basics like blackboards, desks, and a small science lab. The teachers here are dedicated and work hard to keep up with the curriculum. We have a daily routine that starts with an assembly in the morning. Since we are near the highway, you can sometimes hear the trucks passing by, but we’ve all gotten used to it. We don't have a huge budget for decorations, so the walls are mostly plain with some student work pinned up. The school bus picks up kids from the nearby villages and brings them here. It’s a practical school for the local community. We try to keep the fees manageable so that most people can afford to send their children here. We have a small library with some textbooks and storybooks. It’s just a regular school where kids come to learn and grow up together in a simple environment. It is a place that belongs to the community.
