Odium Nidhi Limited

Odium Nidhi Limited is actually located at Suratha Rana’s place in Sagarpali. This is out in the Deogaon area of Bolangir. It is a bit of a distance from the main city, so things are a lot quieter here. We don't have the big city noise or the constant traffic. It’s more of a local operation where everyone knows everyone else’s name. The office is very basic. We use a couple of rooms and keep our records in metal cupboards. It’s the kind of place where you might see a goat or a cow wandering past the door while you're working. We spend our days dealing with the local folks from around Sagarpali and the nearby villages. Most of the work involves writing things down in ledgers and talking to people who come by. Since we are in Bolangir, the summers get really hot, so we try to get most of the heavy work done early in the day. We don't have any fancy brochures or a website with lots of pictures. We just exist as a small part of the village life here. It’s a simple way of doing things, and we don't feel the need to make it more complicated than it is. We are just here to help with the local administrative needs and keep things moving for the people in Deogaon. It’s just how we live and work.
