We are located out in Rameswar Nagar, right on the main road. If you are coming down this way, you’ll probably see us right near the Abhimanu Hotel. It’s a landmark everyone knows around here, which makes it easier for people to find our gate. We run a crusher business, so things tend to get pretty loud and dusty once we start the machines up in the morning. It isn't the cleanest job in the world, but it keeps us busy from sunrise to sunset. My brother and I usually handle the main operations, making sure the belts are moving and the stone is getting broken down into the right sizes. The trucks start lining up early on the shoulder of the road, and we try to get them loaded and out of here as fast as we can. Sometimes the weather makes it tough, especially when the rain turns everything into a bit of a muddy mess, but we just keep going. We don't have any fancy offices or anything like that. There is just a small wooden desk where we keep the ledger and some old chairs for when we need to sit down for a minute. People from the neighborhood stop by to chat or ask about loads for their construction projects. It’s a straightforward life. We aren't doing anything complicated, just crushing stone and making sure the pile stays high enough to meet what people need for their building work.
