People in Balangir know where to find us. Ayushman Pharmaceuticals has been part of this town for a good while. We are not located in one of those shiny new glass buildings you see in the bigger cities. Our place is more down to earth. We spend our days sorting through the supplies and making sure everything is where it should be. Balangir is a place where people actually talk to each other, so we spend a fair amount of time chatting with whoever stops by the office. It is mostly local business stuff. The work itself can be repetitive, checking batch numbers and dates over and over again. But it is important to get it right. We have a small team and we have all worked together for a long time. We know each other's habits and who makes the best tea in the afternoon. Sometimes the weather gets really dry and dusty, so we are always cleaning the shelves. It is a bit of a losing battle but we try. We do not have any big slogans. We just show up in the morning, open the shutters, and see what the day brings. It is a simple way to make a living and we are okay with that. The street outside can get crowded during market days, which makes parking a bit of a headache, but we manage. We just take things one day at a time here.
