Sheeba Garments

We operate Sheeba Garments out of Flat No 102 in Siri Nilayam, which is on Plot No 39 in the Vijayanagar Colony area of Kukatpally. It’s not a big commercial space, just a regular flat that we’ve filled up with sewing machines and cutting tables. Everywhere you look, there are rolls of fabric and bags of thread. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of orders to get through, but we make it work. The sound of the machines is pretty much constant from morning until evening. We don’t have a fancy display window or anything like that. People who come here usually already know what we do or have heard about us from someone else. We spend our time measuring, cutting, and stitching. It’s practical work and it keeps our hands busy. Sometimes the floor gets covered in little scraps of cloth and loose threads, but we try to sweep it up at the end of the day. The colony is a good place to be, and it’s easy enough for people to find us once they get to the right building. We aren’t trying to be some big fashion house; we just focus on making the garments properly so they hold together well. It’s a small operation with just a few of us working together, and we like it that way because we can keep an eye on everything ourselves.
