M D Farooq Enterprises

This business was started by M D Farooq, and we operate out of Papireddy in Balanagar. Specifically, we are near the 1st Water Tank in the Asbestos Colony. It is a residential kind of area but we have our setup here at 4-42-178. My father, Abdul Khader, has been a big part of how we do things. We do all sorts of enterprise work, mostly handling supplies and small-scale trading. The colony is quiet compared to the main Hyderabad roads, which is nice for working. We have a lot of space for storing our materials. Being near the water tank makes it easy for people to find our location when they are visiting for the first time. We spend most of our mornings organizing the day's schedule and checking what needs to be delivered. It is a family-run place, so there isn't much formality. We just speak plainly and get to the point. Sometimes the kids are around the house while we are working in the office area. It is a mix of home and work life really. We have been in Balanagar for a long time and know most of the people around here. We don't do much marketing because word of mouth in the colony works better for us. It’s a steady way of living and we are content with how it goes. We just keep things moving along slowly and steadily each day.
