Gnr Industries

Gnr Industries is located at Plot No 56/4 in the Industrial Estates of Gandhi Nagar. We are right opposite the BPL petrol bunk. It’s a good spot because we never have to go far to fuel up the trucks. The plot is fairly large, but most of it is taken up by the workshop and storage. It’s an industrial area, so it’s always loud with the sound of machines and metal. We’ve got a lot of equipment that needs constant maintenance. Sometimes the grease gets everywhere, and our clothes are always a bit stained. That’s just part of the job here. We started out with just a small shed and eventually took over more of the plot. The extension part of the estate is where we do most of the heavy lifting now. Gnr Industries isn't the kind of place you’d come for a fancy meeting. We’ve got a small office with a wooden desk and an old computer that takes forever to start up. Most of the time we are out on the floor anyway. The sun gets really hot on the tin roof during the afternoon. We usually take a long break then. Gandhi Nagar has a lot of these small factories, and we all kind of look out for each other. If someone needs a tool, they just come over and ask. It’s a hard-working environment, and we’re used to the long hours. We just keep the machines running.
