Bandana Plastics

Bandana Plastics is located over in Raju Colony, specifically at 6-10-12/1 in the Vinayaka Nagar area of Balanagar. This part of town is full of small workshops and warehouses, so there is always the sound of machines or trucks moving around. Our place is basically a big room filled with plastic goods and raw materials. It’s not the cleanest place because there is always some dust or bits of plastic on the floor, but we try to sweep it up when we can. We have stacks of bins and containers piled high toward the ceiling. The office is just a small corner with a table and a fan that squeaks a bit. We spend our time taking orders and loading up the small tempos that come to the gate. It gets really hot under the tin roof during the summer, but that’s just part of working in Balanagar. We don't really have a showroom, so people just come straight to the warehouse. Sometimes the stock takes up so much room that it’s hard to walk around, but we know where everything is. It’s a busy life and there is always something that needs fixing or moving. We aren't trying to be some big corporation, just a local business that supplies plastic items to whoever needs them. The neighbors are other shops just like ours, so we all know each other and the local tea stall guy who brings us chai every afternoon.
