We are over at Plot No. 50/A in the Sri Venkateswara Co-Operative Industrial Estate. Being in Balanagar means we are surrounded by other workshops and factories. Anantha Aerospace Engineering Pvt. Ltd. sounds like a big fancy name, but at the end of the day, we are just engineers and technicians working with metal and machines. Our shop floor is full of lathes, milling machines, and stacks of blueprints. We deal with parts that have to be exactly right, so there is a lot of measuring and re-measuring involved. It’s not a quiet place; there’s always a hum from the power tools or someone grinding a piece of steel. We started small in Hyderabad and just stayed here because it’s where all the parts and suppliers are. We don't have a big corporate lobby with plants or a receptionist. If you come to see us, you’ll walk right onto the floor where the work is actually happening. The tea man comes around twice a day, and that’s when we usually take a break to talk about what needs finishing. Some of the jobs are complicated and take weeks of scratching our heads, but we eventually figure it out. We just focus on the drawings we are given and try to make sure everything fits together. It's a lot of grease and hard work, but we like seeing the finished parts boxed up and ready to go to the client.
