Gurunanak Medical

We are located in Gauli Mohala, which is one of those older parts of the area that everyone just calls the H O. Gurunanak Medical is the name on the board outside. It’s a small shop, tucked away where the streets get a bit narrow. You know how those old mohallas are, with neighbors always chatting and kids running around the lanes. We’ve been sitting behind this counter for quite a while now. The space inside is packed with shelves from floor to ceiling because we try to keep a lot of stock in a small area. It’s not one of those big pharmacy chains you see in the malls. It feels more like a part of the neighborhood. In the afternoons, when the sun is hitting the front of the shop, it can get pretty warm, so we usually have the fan going full blast. People come in mostly for their regular things, and we know many of them by their first names. There isn’t a lot of room for people to stand inside, so they often wait on the steps or just chat by the door. We don't really do much advertising. The word just gets around from one family to another. It’s a bit messy sometimes with all the paper records and boxes, but we know exactly where everything is kept. That's just how we run things here in Gauli Mohala, day in and day out, helping whoever stops by the window.
