Bharti Rice Mill

Our mill is located in Paraswada, near the Post Office and the Tahsil office. We are also quite close to National Highway 27, which is very helpful for the big trucks that come and go. Being near the NH-27 means we get a lot of through traffic, and it makes it easier to ship the rice out to different parts of the region. The mill itself is a large, open building where the air is usually thick with the sound of the husking machines. We have been here for a while, and we are a regular stop for many of the local farmers in the Tahsil. It is a no-nonsense kind of place. We have the weighing scales at the front and the storage areas in the back. Our day usually starts very early when the first loads of paddy arrive. We have a small group of workers who handle the loading and unloading, and it is tough, physical labor. There are no air-conditioned offices here, just a simple room where we keep our records and talk to the transporters. We focus on getting the milling done so the farmers can get back to their fields. It is a vital part of the local economy here in Paraswada, and we take the work as it comes. We are not interested in being big or fancy, just in keeping the machines running and the rice moving.
