Saini Cement Traders

We’ve been running Saini Cement Traders at the Tehsil Complex in Hoshiarpur for a good while now. Our spot is right on Chandigarh Road, close to the old Mahilpur Adda. If you live around here, you’ve probably seen the trucks pulling in and out of our yard. We aren't doing anything complicated. We mostly just keep a good stock of cement bags for whoever needs them for their building projects. Whether it’s a big construction site or someone just fixing a patch on their floor, they come to us. The yard gets pretty dusty, especially when the wind picks up off the main road, but that’s just how it is when you work with cement. We spend our mornings checking the inventory and making sure the stacks are straight. My clothes usually have a bit of grey dust on them by lunchtime. We don't have any fancy office or air conditioning. It’s just a desk, some chairs, and the ledger where we track everything. Sometimes the traffic on Chandigarh Road makes it hard for the bigger lorries to turn in, so we have to go out and help guide them. It’s a bit of a hassle but we get it done. People around here know they can just stop by and ask for a few bags. We try to be helpful without making a big deal out of anything. It’s a basic business and we like it that way.
