Vindykshetr Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are over here at Pathara Dasaudhisadawa, working as Vindykshetr Farmer Producer Company Limited. It is mostly just a group of us from the local area who know the land pretty well. Baijnath’s place is where we usually get together to figure out what needs doing for the season. Most days start early because the sun gets quite hot later on. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. It is just the reality of farming life in this part of the country. Sometimes the rain comes at the right time and sometimes it doesn't, so we just try to help each other out with whatever equipment or seeds are around. It is hard work and my hands are usually dirty by noon, but that is just how it goes when you grow things for a living. People around here have been farming for generations, so we just carry on that way. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure the crops get sold and everyone gets a fair shake. The road out here to Dasaudhisadawa can be a bit rough after the monsoon, but we manage. If you come by, you’ll probably find us sitting near the shed talking about prices or the latest pests. It is a quiet life for the most part, but there is always something to fix or plant. That is basically who we are and what happens here every day. It's not a lot, but it keeps us busy.
