We are out here in Village Gunti, right near the main choraha in Behror. It’s a busy spot most days with the trucks coming through. My family has been around Alwar for a long time, and we just keep the yard running. You’ll usually see piles of sand and bricks stacked up near the entrance. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere when the wind picks up, especially in the afternoons. It isn’t a fancy office or anything like that. Just a place where we keep the materials people need for their houses. The phone rings a lot with people asking if we have cement or stone dust in stock today. We try to keep enough for whoever shows up. The road near the post office gets pretty crowded during the middle of the day, so it can be a bit of a wait for the lorries to back in. We’ve seen a lot of houses go up in the tehsil over the years. Some days are slow and we just sit around the front, but other days we can't keep up with the loading. It’s just how it goes here in Gunti. The gate stays open early until the sun goes down. Most of the local guys know where we are, just past the turn by the bank. We don't spend much time cleaning up the yard because as soon as one pile goes, another one arrives. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do.
