We are located in Amanat, which is part of the Piyarpurudhwa area. It isn’t a very large place, but it is home to us and we know it well. Jhgv Nidhi Limited was started because we felt there was a real need for this kind of service in our own neighborhood. We aren't a big, fancy bank from a major city. We are just a few people working out of a very modest room. Most of our days are spent talking to our neighbors about their small savings and how they can manage their money better. It’s quiet, steady work that mostly involves a lot of paperwork and careful counting. We don’t have a website or any expensive advertisements running. Word of mouth is how almost everyone finds us. We know the families who live around here and they know us just as well. That familiarity makes everything a lot easier because there is a natural trust between us. Sometimes the weather makes the roads difficult to travel, but we try to stay open as much as we possibly can. We keep most of our records by hand in large books. It might seem a bit old-fashioned to some, but it works perfectly for us and the people we serve. We aren't trying to pretend to be anything we’re not. We are just a local spot for local people to manage their money without any unnecessary fuss or complicated rules.
