If you find yourself in Jamunha Bazaar, you’ll likely see our small office tucked between the other shops. It’s a busy place, especially in the mornings when everyone is out doing their shopping. We have a couple of desks and some old maps pinned to the walls. The edges of the maps are curling up because of the humidity. Most of the day is spent on the phone or looking at bus schedules. It can get a bit hectic when two or three people come in at once asking about tickets to different places. We try to keep everything written down in our diary so we don't forget who needs what. The floor is just simple tile that we sweep every couple of hours because of the dust from the bazaar. There’s a ceiling fan that makes a clicking sound, but it keeps the air moving. We aren’t a big company with shiny glass walls. It’s just us here in the market. We know the other shopkeepers around us, and we often share a cup of tea while waiting for the next customer. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to apologize while the page loads. It’s just part of working in this part of town. We just do our work and head home when the sun goes down. Usually, we wait for the last bus of the day to pass before we lock the shutters and head out ourselves to find some dinner.
