Blooming Buds Senior Secondary School

Our school is located on the Gonda Balram Pur Road in a place called Devtaha. The pin code is 271209. Being on a main road means there is a lot of traffic passing by, mostly trucks and buses moving between Gonda and Balrampur. The school is a bit set back from the road to keep some of the dust out, but you can still hear the horns honking all day long. It’s a senior secondary school, so we have older students who come from the surrounding villages. Many of them arrive on bicycles, which we park in a shed near the back. The building is quite large because we need enough rooms for all the different subjects. We have a small laboratory for science experiments, but it’s pretty basic with just the essential equipment. The staff room is always a bit cluttered with papers and books. During the monsoon, the fields around Devtaha get very green, and the air feels a bit fresher, though the road can get difficult to travel on. We don't have a lot of fancy landscaping, just some hardy trees that provide a bit of shade in the yard. It’s a hardworking environment where the staff and students just get on with their tasks. People here are straightforward, and the school reflects that simple, no-nonsense way of doing things in rural Gonda.
