Ahamad Clinic

Ahamad Clinic is right on the Gaura Utraula Road in Utraula. It’s a busy stretch of road and we see all sorts of vehicles passing by from the front window. The clinic itself is quite simple and we try to keep it tidy, though the dust from the road makes that a bit of a constant battle. We have a few benches for people to sit on while they wait to see the doctor. It’s not a very big space, but it’s enough for what we need to do. Most of our neighbors around here are shopkeepers and they often stop in to say hello. The clock on the wall has a bit of a loud tick that you notice when it gets quiet between patients. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out like everyone else in Utraula. We’ve got some old magazines on the table, mostly about farming or health, though nobody really reads them much anymore since everyone has their phones. The floors are made of plain stone and they stay relatively cool even when the sun is beating down on the Gaura Utraula Road outside. It’s just a regular clinic where people come when they aren't feeling well. We don't make a big fuss about things, we just open up in the morning and stay until the last person is seen. It’s a steady kind of life. There is a tea stall nearby that we usually get our afternoon drinks from.
