We have been operating out of 411 Modern Industrial Estate in Bahadurgarh for a good while now. It’s a busy place and the noise of machines is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. Our workshop isn't anything fancy to look at, but it’s where all the actual work happens. You’ll usually find a few of us on the floor, maybe with some grease on our shirts, just trying to get the day's orders finished. The industrial estate has its own rhythm, and we’re just one small part of it. Some mornings we start quite early when it’s still a bit cool outside, which is nice before the heat of the machines kicks in. We don't really do much in the way of big meetings or fancy presentations. Most of our communication is just shouting over the hum of the equipment or talking while we grab a quick tea near the entrance. The tools are old but they work well because we take care of them. Sometimes things break down and we have to spend half the day fixing a motor or a belt, which can be frustrating, but that’s just life in a place like this. We know our neighbors and sometimes swap tools or advice when someone is stuck. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We just focus on the metal and the machines and try to do a decent job every day.
