The place is out at the 43 km stone on the Delhi-Rohtak Road. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, so we spend a lot of time watching the trucks go by on the highway. Ssk Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from this spot for a while now. Most days are just about handling the regular orders and making sure the drums are filled right for the next delivery. Usually, things get pretty quiet by late afternoon when the sun starts to go down over the fields behind us. We’ve gotten used to the constant noise of the heavy traffic. It’s just a regular, honest workplace where everyone knows their specific job and does it. No one wears suits or ties here. We wear what’s practical for moving heavy stuff around.
