Saanwra Engg. Works

Finding Plot No. 1556 in the M.I.E. Part-B industrial area can be a bit of a headache if you aren't familiar with the layout. It’s a lot of grey buildings and lorries blocking the lanes, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. Saanwra Engg. Works has been operating out of this spot for a while. We aren't a massive factory with hundreds of people, just a local shop trying to stay busy. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of tools and the radio playing somewhere in the back. We take on whatever engineering work comes through the door, mostly stuff for other businesses nearby. There’s always grease on the floors and piles of scrap metal in the corners, but we know where everything is. The coffee is usually cold by the time we get to drink it because something always needs a quick look. It’s a simple life, really. We come in, look at the drawings or the broken pieces people bring us, and try to make sense of them. We don’t do any big fancy marketing. Most of our work comes from word of mouth or people just walking in from other plots. It’s dusty and loud, but it’s our space. We just focus on the job at hand and try to get it done properly before the sun goes down and the industrial area goes quiet for the night.
