Our office is up on the third floor in Rishi Nagar. It’s WZ-474 A, right in the Rani Bagh area. Climbing those stairs keeps you fit, though sometimes I wish we had a bigger lift for the heavy stuff. It’s a typical trading spot. We have a lot of ledgers, some old computers, and plenty of coffee stains on the desks. Rani Bagh is always buzzing, so there is never a quiet moment outside the window. We deal with various suppliers and try to keep our inventory straight, which is harder than it sounds. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, and we just sit there talking until it comes back on. It’s not a corporate environment. We wear regular clothes and talk like normal people. My nephew helps out with the digital stuff because I still prefer writing things down in a notebook. The space is a bit tight with all the samples we keep around, but we manage. We’ve been in this building for some time, and the neighbors know us. It’s just a place of work where we handle the day-to-day trading tasks. We don't have a big sign or a fancy lobby. We just get through the pile of work on the desk and go home when it's finished. Every morning starts with a fresh pot of tea and a look at the list of things we missed yesterday.
