Rao Builders

Rao Builders is based on Badli Road, right near the Mela Ground and the Truck Union. It’s a busy corner of the world, with trucks rumbling past at all hours and the dust from the road settling on everything. Our office is a simple setup where we keep our plans, some samples of bricks and tiles, and a lot of ledgers. Being near the truck union is actually pretty handy for us since we’re always needing materials moved around. We spend a lot of our time out on different building sites, so the office is often just a place to touch base in the morning or wrap things up in the evening. There’s usually a pot of tea going and some maps of the local plots spread out on the table. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. Most of our work comes from people in the neighborhood who know what we do. We talk to the laborers, check the levels, and make sure the materials arrive on time. The mela ground nearby gets really crowded during festival times, which makes the traffic a bit of a mess, but it’s part of the local flavor. We’ve been building things around here for a while now, and we just focus on doing a decent job so the structures stand up. It’s plain, hard work, and we’re fine with that. No big promises, just getting the walls up and the roofs on.
