Our place is over at Plot No. 268 in Sector 17, right in the Hsiidc Footwear Park. Even though the area is called a footwear park, we handle a lot of fabric and cotton materials here. The machines run pretty much all day, and you can hear the hum from the street sometimes. It’s a busy spot. We have rolls of cloth stacked up in the corners and people moving back and forth checking the quality. It’s not a quiet job. We’ve had this setup for a while, and most of the people working here live nearby in the local community. We usually start early in the morning before it gets too hot outside. The loading dock is always busy with trucks coming in or leaving. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us making sure the fabric is right and getting it sent out on time to whoever needs it. Sometimes the schedules get tight, and we all have to pitch in a bit more to finish the batches. It feels like a big family here, even when we’re stressed about a deadline. We just keep our heads down and work. The area is quite industrial, so there’s always something going on next door. If you’re looking for us, look for the big gate near the main road. We’ve been part of this area for years, and we plan to stay here. It’s just simple textile work.
