Belco Pharma

Belco Pharma is based at 515 in the Modern Industrial Estate. It is a functional place where we handle the day-to-day work of pharmaceutical production. There are no big glass windows or fancy lobbies here, just a solid building where the actual work happens. The estate is always buzzing with the sound of trucks and other businesses, so it’s never really quiet. We spend most of our time inside, keeping an eye on the batches and making sure the packaging is done right. It can be a bit monotonous, but it is what we do. The team is just a handful of local people who have been here for years, so we all know how the machines work and how to fix things when they get stuck. Our office is just a small room in the corner with some old desks and a lot of filing cabinets. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we are checking orders or shipping dates. Most of the focus is on the floor where the product is made. The air always has a bit of a chemical smell to it, which you get used to after a few days. We don't have a big marketing plan; we just fill the orders as they come in from the distributors. It’s a very straightforward way of working, and we prefer it that way without any extra complications or corporate meetings to attend every day.
