American Kidz Play School

Down in Gali No.4 of Vivekanand Nagar, you will find American Kidz Play School. Bahadurgarh is a busy place, but our little corner is usually filled with the sound of kids playing and learning their ABCs. We have been in this neighborhood for a bit now. The school occupies a house-like building which makes it feel a bit more comfortable for the toddlers who are leaving home for the first time. We have rooms set up with bright colors and plenty of toys scattered around. It’s a local operation. Usually, the morning starts with parents dropping off their little ones on their way to work. We don't have any massive playgrounds, but there is enough space for them to run around and get some energy out. The staff here mostly consists of local women who have been with us for a long time. We don't do anything too fancy, just basic activities to keep the children occupied and learning how to interact with each other. Sometimes the gate squeaks a bit when people come in, and we have to remind the kids to keep their shoes in the racks. It’s a normal, everyday kind of place. We mostly just focus on making sure the kids are safe and have something to do until their parents come back in the afternoon. It is just a regular part of the Vivekanand Nagar community, and we like the small-town feel of our street.
