We are located at H. No. 795, Ward No. 2, in the Shajanpur area of Khekra, which is in Baghpat. Khekra Handloom Producer Company Limited is really about the work we do right here in the community. It’s not some glass office building; it’s a house and a workspace combined. You can hear the sounds of the work going on throughout the day. We have been part of this ward for a long time. The setup is very traditional and practical because that is what works for handloom production. We aren't looking to be the biggest company out there, we just want to keep the handloom tradition going in our part of Uttar Pradesh. Most of the people involved are neighbors or live just a few streets away. It’s a very local operation. We handle everything ourselves, from the raw materials to the finished products. Sometimes the logistics of getting things out of Baghpat can be a bit of a headache, but we figure it out. We don't have a fancy website or a bunch of people in suits. It’s just us in Shajanpur working on the looms and making sure things get done. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We are just a group of producers trying to make a living and support each other. We don't have a lot of time for fancy talks, just for the craft we know.
